Line loads, patch loads and maintenance equipment weights agreed before glass order.
Walk-on rooflights combine an insulating zone with a structural laminated walk surface rated for the maintenance or occupancy load declared by the engineer. Slip resistance, drainage falls and condensation risk at the perimeter are treated as one package because the outer ply sees foot traffic and weather at the same time.
They are used over basement light wells, kitchen extensions and roof terraces where the roof must stay usable. Inner leaves stay laminated for fallout protection, while the outer stack may include sacrificial surfaces or replaceable tread mats depending on how often the terrace is walked on.

Thermally broken aluminium perimeter channel tied into the roof insulation line.
